This past weekend we were given an awesome opportunity to explore Texas’ Most Haunted Hospital – Yorktown Memorial Hospital. I’ve been planning this trip for the past 2 months trying to see who would like to join & contacting the owner back & forth for information.

We woke up at 5:30AM to be on the road by 7:30AM to drive from Austin to Yorktown, Texas. It was a very short 2 hour drive to get there and the town was small with a population of 2,000 people.

Our crew for the trip: Besides me- Donnie, Eric, SimpleZombie, Gray, Ballzy + his girlfriend.

I’ve always been into exploring abandoned places & I’m really interested in the paranormal so it was nice to be able to check out the abandoned hospital.

I have an insane amount of photos to post! I’ll love to share some of the history we learned from the owner and our own research of the hospital.

As soon as you walk into the hospital you are greeted with a very long hallway looking down all the way into the chapel from the distance. I’ll be linking my stream VOD below so you can see our time at the hospital. We pretty much walked through every room & hallway we had access to!

Ballzy & Donnie had a nice time configuring these old letterings to make a message on the desk.

Picture on the right is from the chapel looking back to the main entrance door. It was a dark walk once as the day got later.

The room with the many dolls had its share of creepy moments.

The foundation was cracking all over the building.

We were able to get access to the rooftop on the top level.

The basement

The story in the boiler room was there was a double homicide & the victims blood could still be seen to this day splattered over one of the walls to the ceiling.
There was a room with a weird cage in it- We were standing inside the cage & caught some weird noise on our video. I did not know the story behind it but behind that room was a bedroom. It was a little eerie.

Overall, it was nice to explore the hospital and I’m hoping to book this place for an overnight investigation. First things first is getting all the equipment we need.

In the end we have a few small moments happen to us but we all never felt threatened or anything malicious, despite the stories. It was a good day with everyone who went and I’m grateful they shared the experience with the stream.
