Review – Kaiju Cut & Sew

During our recent trip to RTX 2018, I decided to browse around the artist alley. I stumbled across a lot of sweet vendors and especially one that caught my eye was Kaiju Cut & Sew.     I really adore awesome looking fabric design and patterns. One of their items caught my eye which was their corgi fanny pack.   After talking to the people running the booth, I had met the owner of the company, Chris, who is also the person that sews the crafts. It was awesome to know they are local in Austin and even sell their merchandise around town including Dragon's Lair - one of my favorite comic/manga places to visit.

As I mentioned, one of the items I knew I had to buy was the Corgi fanny pack. I went for a run the other day and decided to take Taki with me (our 4 month old Swiss Shepherd). The fanny pack was extremely comfortable to wear on our walk on the boardwalk and it was super useful for holding necessary items like my credit card, ID, headphones and some Taki poopy-bags. The only thing I carried myself was just a water bottle for the long run/walk. The corgi fanny pack just suited to be used on our dog walks.

Still browsing around their table, I also saw another item that caught my eye. It was this awesome looking lucky cat case. I knew the fanny pack would be useful for runs and I wasn't sure what to use the case for but I really enjoyed the design on it so I ended up getting it as well. Surprisingly, I now use the case to hold all my IRL items (my small wide lens for my phone, charger cords, hot spot, selfie stick & power bank). I highly recommend checking out their shop!
