Lydia of Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice! I loved it as a kid and I still it as an adult. Lydia is one of my favorite characters and I can see this as an easy costume. Not the red outfit version, but the version of her in very dark clothing with her camera. It could be pulled off if I can manage to mimic her hair and wear pale + dark make up. This was just an option though as I was watching Beetlejuice.

Cosplayer Hannah Parker does a fantastic job on dressing up as Lydia! I even had to do a double-take to realize it wasn't Winona Ryder. Even carrying around the "Handbook for the Recently Deceased" book would add that perfect Beetlejuice touch.
In 2009, I had dressed up as Coraline! It still and probably will always be one of my favorite movies. My friends use to even call me "Loraline", haha. Good times! I was thinking of dressing up as her again but in her stars outfit. As I was bargain shopping, I found a sweater that looked exactly like her stars one. I ended up buying it because I know one day I'd love to dress up as that version of her. All I really need is her button key necklace.
Side note - It's a small perk that I have blue in my hair already! Maybe this can be a good option. Plus, that wig was horrendous and hard to manage!
Attack on Titan slayer
Not too long ago, I made a post before SDCC saying how I'd cosplay as a titan slayer. I still have my outfit and have done nothing with it! To be honest, I got really discouraged about wearing my AOT outfit when I saw a million people (dramatic) dressed up as AOT characters. I should expect that since it's a great anime and it's really popular! It's just hanging in my closet and I've been going back and forth on this one... Plus, I still haven't made the weapons!
Wayyy back in the day during my middle school + high school days, I would dress up as a Gryffindor whenever there was a new Harry Potter movie launching at midnight. As I was visiting my hometown last week, I FOUND my old Gryffindor cloak! I already had my Gryffindor tie + sweater at my apartment and all I needed was that cloak. I seriously thought it got lost in the abyss of my old rooms closet - But alas, it peaked out in the back of my closet!
For nostalgic reasons and just missing my small obsession with all things Harry Potter, I've decided to dress up as a Hogwarts/Gryffindor student :) Not as Hermione, Luna or anyone else - Just a student. I even have a wand...
Have you decided what to dress up as for Halloween already? Was the process as complicated as mine just trying to figure it out?! Let me know in the comments section :) Especially if you're making a costume from scratch!
