So yesterday was the beginning of SXSW - It started off with Interactive & Gaming. This is my first year going to the gaming expo; It reminded me very much like going to a con. I scored so much great merchandise from almost all the booths I came across - Everyone was so nice out there, too. (My favorite was my Left 4 Dead med pack backpack!)

While I was at the expo I managed to record a bunch of clips of the event going on. If you feel like devoting 7 minutes of your life to watching my video I put together of the expo, that would be great!

The panels were great - Especially the one called "The Past, Present and Future of Borderlands". I managed to take loads of clips and pictures of that panel so I will probably make a separate article about my experience for that event. It was seriously great - As you can already tell, I'm a huuuuggeee Borderlands fan! The guys were sweet - Check back for my article posting.     I probably took about 100+ pictures, but I provided some of the event pictures below. I'm debating about going back to the expo tomorrow and on Sunday. For those of you who don't know, the SXSW Gaming Expo is all weekend long! On Sunday night Nerdist Industries & ComiXology will be hosting a Social Underground: The Official SXSW Gaming Closing Party.
This show is free and open to the public, featuring live musical performances from Youngblood Hawke and Ra Ra Riot!
  • Sunday, March 10 // 7:30PM -10:00PM
  • Palmer Events Center // 900 Barton Springs Rd
  • Age Policy: All
Seriously... If you are in Austin for the weekend there is NO reason not to stop by the gaming expo! And if you are here for the week, you should definitely try and score some free shows that will be happening on every street corner in Austin... Just joking, but it's kinda true!     I'll be making an article on the Borderlands panel and posting that up soon. Allons-y! :)
